(Olympia, WA) -- Bill Bryant is officially running to unseat Democratic incumbent Washington Governor Jay Inslee. The Republican, who has served on the Seattle Port Commission since 2008, announced last year he intended to run for governor. In filing his paperwork yesterday, Bryant said the state of Washington is in need of new leadership. A statewide Elway poll, taken in April, showed 48-percent of voters questioned preferred Inslee, while 36-percent favored Bryant.
