Survey: Oregon Among Worst States For Military Retirees

(Undated)  --  A new WalletHub survey shows Oregon is ranked 49th in the nation among states deemed best for military personnel to enjoy their retirement.  The survey cites criteria that include economic environment, quality of life, and access to health care.  Oregon received an overall score of 37-and-a-half, compared to top-ranked Alaska, which received a score of 62.  South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, and Florida round out the five best states for military retirees, while Washington ranks 26th.
