(Portland, OR)  --  Gas prices appear to be leveling off with the approach of the Memorial Day weekend.  Triple-A reports the Portland-area average for a gallon of regular is two-45, which is only about a penny-and-a-half above the average at this time last week.  The national average for regular is about two-31 a gallon.
