(Tacoma, WA) -- Washington State Auditor Troy Kelley wants the remaining charges against him dismissed. His attorneys have asked a federal judge to acquit Kelley on the 14 counts on which a jury was deadlocked last month during his theft, money-laundering, and tax-evasion trial. The jury acquitted him on a charge of making a false statement, but the judge declared a hung jury when a verdict couldn't be reached on the remaining charges.
