Company In Hillsboro To Close, Lay Off 82 Employees

(Hillsboro, OR)  --  More than 80 employees will be displaced when Norm Thompson Outfitters Incorporated closes its Hillsboro office.  The clothing & accessory company has told state employment officials that it plans to lay off about 46 employees from its Aloleck Drive building, move another 13 to nearby satellite offices, and relocate 23 others to offices in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.  The company says the layoffs and relocations will begin in late July and should be completed in mid-September.
