(Hillsboro, OR)  --  Police say an 81-year-old man died after being hit by an SUV at a Hillsboro intersection.  Authorities say the man was hit as he was crossing at Baseline Road and 9th Street yesterday afternoon, and died after being airlifted to a hospital.  The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.  No names have been released.
