Lead Found In Schools' Drinking Water

(Portland, OR)  --  The Environmental Protection Agency confirms that nearly a dozen Oregon schools had high lead levels in drinking water over the past five years.  KATU-TV reports those schools have now fixed their lead problems.  State health officials said the main source of lead in drinking water originates with the plumbing in certain buildings, not the water pipes controlled by public utilities.
