(Olympia, WA) -- Washington Governor Jay Inslee says people are "sickened and shocked" by yesterday morning's shooting which killed at least 50 people and injured 53 others at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. The governor, who attended Spokane's pride festival Saturday, said there was no doubt that yesterday was a "day of unimaginable sorrow" for the LGBT community following what he calls an "act of hatred." Flags were lowered yesterday to half-staff across the state and the U.S. to honor the victims of the mass shooting.
