Vigils Held In Portland For Victims Of Orlando Shooting

(Portland, OR)  --  Portland Mayor Charlie Hales says a rainbow flag is flying at City Hall to honor the victims of a shooting that killed 50 people and wounded more than 50 others at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.  Vigils were held for the victims last night at the Q Center in Northwest Portland and outside the Embers club on Northwest Broadway.  Another vigil was held later at Salmon Street Springs at Waterfront Park.  KOIN-TV quotes FBI Portland Division officials as saying that no credible threats have been made to LGBT communities in Oregon.
