(Portland, OR)  --  Governor Kate Brown is among those who attended the Portland Pride Parade and Festival yesterday.  Security was stepped up from previous years, and there was an increased presence of Portland police officers as well.  Many parade-goers held up signs in support of the victims of the recent mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida.  Brown told KPTV there's a "need to work together to create communities of love and tolerance here in Oregon and around the country."
