Seattle Company Recalls Frozen Veggies For Listeria Risk

(Seattle, WA)  --  A Seattle company is issuing a recall of frozen green peas and frozen mixed vegetables because of the possibility of Listeria contamination.  National Frozen Foods sells the products under brands including Bountiful Harvest, First Street, Great Value, Live Smart, Market Pantry, and Sprouts Farmers Market in stores across the country.  The products were sold between September 2nd, 2015, and June 2nd, 2016.  National Frozen Foods officials say the recall was issued after internal tests revealed the presence of Listeria bacteria, but no illnesses have been reported so far.
