(Portland, OR)  --  A 12-year-old boy is being treated for serious injuries after he was hit by a car in Northeast Portland.  Police say the boy was hit as he ran into the street in the area of Northeast 122nd and Multnomah Street around 12:25 yesterday afternoon.  The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.  The boy is expected to survive.
