(Vancouver, WA)  --  A suspect is in custody after a toddler was seriously injured in a beating at a Vancouver motel.  KOIN-TV reports Clark County sheriff's deputies arrived last night at a room at the Sunnyside Motel on Northeast Highway 99 and found a male suspect, beating and kicking a two-year-old child.  Officials say deputies had to use a Taser to subdue the suspect.  The toddler is listed in critical condition at a Portland hospital.
