Deadline To Turn In Primary Ballots Tomorrow

(Olympia, WA)  --  Washington voters have until the end of the day tomorrow to turn in their ballots for the primary elections across the state.  State elections officials tell the "Spokesman-Review" only about one in eight ballots have been sent back so far.  Each ballot includes 17 candidates for U.S. senator, eleven for governor, and eleven for lieutenant governor.  Seven candidates are also vying to become the next Public Lands commissioner, and three incumbents are seeking re-election to the state Supreme Court.
