(Olympia, WA) -- Democratic incumbent Jay Inslee will meet Republican challenger Bill Bryant in the November election for Washington governor. Initial returns show Inslee tallied 49 percent of the vote, while Bryant got 38 percent. The other nine candidates in the race achieved single-digit showings. The Secretary of State's office says about 24 percent of the ballots sent out across Washington for the primary election were returned by yesterday evening.
