(Lewis Co., WA)  --  A Forest Grove man is dead, following a crash in Lewis County, Washington.  Troopers say 58-year-old William R. Ballard was riding east on his motorcycle along State Route 12 yesterday, when he lost control and crashed into a guardrail.  Police say Ballard was thrown from the motorcycle and died at the scene.  Authorities say Ballard was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
