(Everett, WA) -- Trial is set for April 2017 for John Blaine Reed, who's accused of killing a Snohomish County, Washington, couple earlier this year. Reed, who's 53, has pleaded not guilty to two counts of aggravated murder in the deaths of his former neighbors, Patrick Shunn and Monique Patenaude, on April 11th. Authorities say the victims were shot to death and their bodies were dumped in a remote area several miles from their home in Oso. A search for Reed was launched following the murders and he was arrested in Mexico in July.
