Police: Man Who Caused Lewis County Crash Was Texting

(Lewis Co., WA)  --  Sheriff's deputies say a nationwide warrant has been issued for a man accused of felony hit-and-run in Lewis County.  Authorities say Robert Hicks is facing a charge of vehicular assault in connection with the wreck that left a mother of ten severely injured.  Officials say evidence shows that Hicks was texting while driving at the time of the July 24th crash, which severely injured Missy Cross in the community of Winlock.  Anyone with information on the location of Robert Hicks is asked to call the Lewis County Sheriff's office at 360-740-1373.
