(Bothell, WA)  --  A Puget Sound-area fisherman is in the record books, after landing the largest bass ever recorded in Washington state history.  Bill Evans of Bothell was on Lake Bosworth in Marysville last Monday when he caught a largemouth bass weighing 12-point-53 pounds.  The previous state record for a largemouth bass was just over eleven-and-a-half pounds in 1977.  Evans recently moved to Washington from Ohio with his wife.
