(Spokane, WA)  --  Crews are battling several wildfires in the Spokane area, which have scorched thousands of acres and destroyed a number of structures.  Level Three evacuations are in effect as up to five homes have been destroyed, along with up to ten outbuildings.  Officials say the fires continue to threaten homes, powerlines, crops, and timber in Spokane and Lincoln counties.  Authorities say the two fires in Spokane County have consumed an estimated three-thousand acres, and the Lincoln County fire has burned 16-hundred acres.
