(Pacific City, OR)  --  The Oregon State Police are investigating the vandalism of the Pedestal Rock last week at Cape Kiwanda.  Troopers say the act was recorded on video and shown on social media.  Authorities say the vandals are shown toppling the iconic sandstone on August 29th.  Officials say the perpetrators could face civil fines, but it hasn't been decided whether they'll face criminal charges.
