(Hood River Co., OR)  --  A Hood River County sheriff's deputy is free on bail, after being accused of sexually abusing a child.  Deputy Marc Smith is facing charges that include luring a minor and third-degree sexual abuse.  Authorities say the incident happened while Smith was off duty, and the deputy has been placed on leave.  The Crook County District Attorney's Office is handling the case.
