(Portland, OR) -- Many residents of the Pacific Northwest aren't prepared for the so-called "big one." That's according to a new poll by PEMCO Insurance, which found that 77 percent of Oregon and Washington residents expect to experience a big earthquake in their lifetimes. But 52 percent say they're only "somewhat" prepared and 39 percent say they aren't at all prepared. The PEMCO poll shows more renters are unprepared for a big quake than homeowners.
