(Portland, OR)  --  A woman is being hospitalized after she was hit by a MAX train in East Portland.  Authorities say it appears the woman deliberately stepped into the path of the train yesterday afternoon.  Police say it happened near 143rd Avenue and East Burnside.  There's no word on the woman's condition.
