(Undated) -- A 24-7 Wall Street study ranks Washington among the nation's ten richest states. Washington's median income is ranked tenth, at just above 64-thousand dollars, and its unemployment rate in 2015 was five-point-seven percent. The 24-7 Wall Street study notes that Washington's relatively high educational attainment rate is one reason for the higher incomes. Oregon is ranked 26th in the study, with a median income of more than 54-thousand dollars and a jobless rate last year of five-point-seven percent.
