PPS Could Face Lawsuit Over Assault Of Student

(Portland, OR)  --  The mother of a student at Portland's Whitman Elementary School could file suit against Portland Public Schools over the alleged sexual abuse of the student.  Former para-educator Brent Christy-Hamilton was arrested on the charges in July.  The complaint filed with PPS claims the seven-year-old girl was sexually abused, assaulted, battered, and falsely imprisoned on two separate occasions during November 2015 by Christy-Hamilton.  He's facing two counts of sexual abuse in the first degree.
