(Portland, OR)  --  It's estimated that about ten-thousand runners participated in the 2016 Portland Marathon.  Matthew Palilla of Bend won the men's division with a time of two hours, 36 minutes, and 24 seconds.  Kate Landau of Tacoma wen the women's division, timing out at two hours, 38 minutes, and 45 seconds.  Runners endured wet conditions, as rain or mist fell for the duration of the race.
