(Portland, OR)  --  Don't Shoot Portland protesters are camped out on the plaza outside City Hall.  The building was locked yesterday, well in advance of the protesters' arrival.  The group plans to attend today's meeting of the Portland City Council, which is scheduled to take up the contract that was recently ratified by the Portland Police Association.  Don't Shoot Portland members say the contract doesn't do enough to address the issue of police accountability, and wants a vote on it delayed until Mayor-elect Ted Wheeler takes office in January.
