(Gardiner, OR) -- Officials say human bones that were found earlier this month in Douglas County were those of a woman. Authorities say the remains were found on October 1st on a bank of the Umpqua River near Gardiner. The Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office says the woman was 30 to 45-years-old at the time she died, which was one to three years ago. The office says it will likely take some time to identify the remains.
