(Portland, OR)  --  A man is dead after crashing into a telephone pole in southeast Portland yesterday morning. Police say the man was traveling eastbound on Holgate Boulevard and 118th Avenue at a high speed when he left his lane.  He then struck an SUV, which caused his car to spin and crash into the pole and a large boulder.
