(Skamania Co., WA)  --  Recovery efforts will begin later today, after the body of a Beaverton man was found in the Columbia River Gorge.  Officials say 31-year-old Melvin Burtch had not been seen since he left for the Table Mountain area on a day hike Tuesday.  Burtch's body was found around five o'clock yesterday evening, and authorities believe he fell about 700 feet to his death.  Crews will begin recovery of the body this morning.
