(Portland, OR) -- The Morrison Bridge is set to close in April for extensive repairs. Multnomah County has approved funding for the project after arriving at about three-million-dollars in settlements with companies that officials say are responsible for defective material used in bridge refurbishing five years ago. County leaders tell KOIN-TV the structure remains safe, as repairs have been made lane by lane. The bridge will be closed for a day on November 6th for further repairs and inspection.
