(Olympia, WA)  --  The final free day at Washington state parks this year is coming up.  Officials say all state parks will charge no admission on Veterans Day, which is Friday, November 11th.  All fees will be waived that day for day-use activities.  Special passes will still be required on other Washington state lands, including ones managed by the state Department of Natural Resources and the Department of Fish and Wildlife.
