Flags At Half-staff Friday To Honor Slain Tacoma Police Officer

(Olympia, WA)  --  All U.S. and Washington state flags are being ordered by Governor Jay Inslee to be lowered to half-staff Friday in honor of a fallen Tacoma police officer.  Seventeen-year veteran Officer Reginald "Jake" Gutierrez was killed in the line of duty on November 30th while responding to a domestic-disturbance call.  A memorial to honor Guiterrez will be held Friday at one p.m. at the Tacoma Dome, and will be open to the public.
