(Eugene, OR)  --  The Oregon Ducks are taking steps to improve on defense.  FOX Sports reports that Oregon plans to hire Jim Leavitt as defensive coordinator.  Leavitt was the defensive coordinator at the University of Colorado.  Prior to working at Colorado, Leavitt was an assistant coach for the San Francisco 49ers.  Leavitt will likely be the highest paid defensive coordinator in the Pac-12.
