(Portland, OR)  --  Portland police are crediting a traffic stop with the discovery of a Tec-9 semi-automatic gun inside the vehicle that was stopped.  Andre Montgomery was arrested and charged with possessing an unlawful firearm.  It happened late Friday night near Southeast 38th Avenue and Hawthorne Street.  Montgomery has a previous firearm conviction in 2012.
