(Battle Ground, WA)  --  Authorities say a man accused of committing a number of crimes in the Battle Ground and Portland areas is now in custody.  The suspect, identified as Dennis Lee Porter the Second of Woodland, was arrested in Multnomah County December 7th after being charged with theft and driving a stolen vehicle.  Investigators say Porter was also caught on video stealing items from trailers outside a home in Battle Ground in early December.  Police say their investigation of Porter started in late November after a woman's purse was stolen from a Battle Ground restaurant.
