Inslee Asks McMorris Rodgers Not To Repeal Obamacare

(Olympia, WA)  --  Washington Governor Jay Inslee is among top Democrats asking Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers to vote against the repeal of Obamacare.  In a letter to the Spokane Republican, Inslee and state Insurance Commissioner Mike Kriedler said that ending the Affordable Care Act would cause hundreds of thousands Washington residents to lose health coverage.  The "Spokesman-Review" reports McMorris Rodgers, who's Washington state's most powerful Republican in Congress, voted against Obamacare when Congress passed it in 2010 and has voted in favor of repeated efforts by Republicans to repeal it since.  McMorris Rodgers says she and other Republicans support keeping some elements of Obamacare.
