Bandon, OR)  --  Oregon State Police are investigating, after a 14-year-old girl from Eugene died after a log rolled over her at South Jetty Park Beach in Bandon.  Authorities say Aurora Genai Sheffel, who was a student at North Eugene High School, was playing on a log in a heavy receding tide on the beach when it rolled on top of her around four o'clock Saturday afternoon.  A police officer and paramedics tried unsuccessfully to revive the teen.
