(Portland, OR)  --  The son of former Governor John Kitzhaber is to spend seven days in jail, after taking a plea deal in connection with a crash in Lincoln County.  Nineteen-year-old Logan Kitzhaber originally faced multiple charges, which included DUII, third-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, reckless driving, and reckless endangering.  According to a police affidavit, Kitzhaber told a paramedic he had a beer before heading toward Lincoln City and admitted to police that he had smoked marijuana the night before the July 2016 crash.  Kitzhaber will be on probation for five years after he's released from jail.
