Lawmakers Pass Bill To End Washington's Wholesale Auto-dealer License

(Olympia, WA)  --  A bill that would eliminate wholesale auto-dealer licenses that officials say can be used for fraudulent activity is on its way to Washington Governor Jay Inslee.  The licenses are issued to wholesale dealers who aren't required to operate a lot with regular business hours, have a building, or a telephone number.  Under the bill, Washington state would stop issuing such licenses after July 1st and eliminate them entirely in 2019.
