(Portland, OR)  --  The city of Portland will soon have a new swimming beach.  Port's Beach marks the city's first designated swim area on the Willamette and will be open to the public on Wednesday.  The beach will feature hosts, picnic tables, and port-a-potties.  The pilot project that some hope will become permanent will feature a floating line in the area where it's safe to swim.
