(Portland, OR)  --  The man accused of threatening a Muslim couple says he did it out of fear and ignorance.  Portland police say 49-year-old Frederick Nolan Sorrell was arrested Friday after he made verbal threats to the Muslim couple and pointed his hand at them like a gun in May.  Investigators arrested him after determining what he did could be considered a hate crime.  A judge ordered him to not have any contact with the victims.
