(Portland, OR)  --  A boater is facing manslaughter charges after a crash killed one of his passengers.  KOIN reports the crash happened in May along the Columbia River.  Steven Curtis Schalk and Heidi Knight were ejected from Schalk's boat after reportedly driving at a high-rate of speed.  Knight died in the crash.  Schalk entered a not guilty plea yesterday and is scheduled to be in court in August.
