(Portland, OR)  --  The Portland Bureau of Environmental Services says a private pipe was the source of a 27-thousand-gallon sewage spill in Woods Creek.  The spill happened Sunday on the 6100 block of Southwest Canby Street.  City crews were able to stop the flow by diverting it to the city sewer system.  The private pipe was designed to only carry rainwater to the creek, but a sewage pipe was mistakenly connected to it.
