(Portland, OR)  --  Residents living in a Portland may get the chance to see the Northern lights early this morning.  The National Weather Service says a coronal mass ejection allowed people in the northwestern states to see the aurora last night and could be visible this morning.  The Northern Lights are the result of electrons colliding with the upper reaches of Earth's atmosphere.
