Small Child Saved After Falling In River

(Lyons, OR)  --  A four-year-old boy is now out of harm's way after being swept away by the North Fork Santiam River yesterday.  KATU reports that two men, Jason McDade and Christian Lozano, jumped in after the young boy after he ended up in the river.  They were able to get him out of the water and onto the beach.  One witness was able to successfully give the boy CPR after he was rescued from the water.  He was taken to the Santiam Hospital.
