(Portland, OR)  --  An alleged burglar is in custody after breaking into a home in southwest Portland.  The burglary took place at a home in the 7300 block of Southwest Brier Place yesterday afternoon.  The homeowner came home to find 50-year-old Kenneth Hurley rummaging through his things.  Hurley grabbed a knife prompting the homeowner to leave the house and call police.  Police, including a K9 unit, were able to arrive on the scene and locate and arrest Hurley in the woods.  He faces a number of burglary charges.
