Fossil Fuel Ban Unconstitutional

(Portland, OR)  --  The law banning new fossil fuel projects in Portland is being called unconstitutional.  The Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals overturned the ordinance that was passed in December yesterday.  The ban prohibited projects such as new oil and coal terminals in an effort to curb health and environmental impacts of fossil fuels.  The Portland Business Alliance, the Western States Petroleum Association and the Columbia Pacific Building Trades Council requested to appeal to get rid of the ban.
