(Portland, OR)  --  A home is destroyed and two others are damaged following an explosion in North Portland.  The explosion happened at 6432 North Kerby Avenue yesterday afternoon, seriously injuring one person who was hospitalized.  A firefighter also suffered minor injuries.  Witnesses described the explosion as feeling like an earthquake as it shook the entire neighborhood block.  The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
